Public Service

Each program year, New York Alumnae Chapter successfully sponsors impactful projects and programs designed to improve and enrich the quality of life for less advantaged youth and the elderly in our community service area of Manhattan south of 155th Street between the Hudson and East Rivers.

We are also well known for our annual fundraising events that support public service programs and college scholarship recipients. Our annual May Week is a culturally enriched program open to the community during May.  We also host several arts and cultural  events and activities to engage and enlighten our community.

We honor our visionary Founders, celebrate our sacred sisterhood, and embark on a new century of committed public service through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
