Welcome to the web site of the New York Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, the first graduate chapter of our illustrious sorority. Delta Sigma Theta is a national public service organization founded on Christian principles by twenty-two college-educated women on the campus of Howard University on January 13, 1913.

Our membership is diverse in age, background, and profession, but we share a common bond in sisterhood, scholarship, and service to Manhattan and especially the Harlem community through our sorority's five-point program thrust:

• Economic Development
• Political Awareness and Involvement
• International Awareness and Involvement
• Physical and Mental Health
